The power of choice.
Life is a series of choices. Some decisions may seem small and insignificant, like what to wear or eat, while others shape our future, relationships, and purpose. As believers in Christ Jesus, we are blessed with the gift of free will, yet we must remember that while we control our decisions, we have no control over the outcomes. God, in His infinite wisdom, encourages us to make wise and thoughtful choices rooted in His Word.
Life presents a path, a fork, a way,
With countless choices every day.
Some seem small, a fleeting whim,
Others deep, with futures dim.
We stand as masters, free to choose,
Which step to take, which voice to use.
Yet though we walk where freedom calls,
The outcome’s not within our walls.
A gentle word or bitter sting,
A heart restored—or suffering.
A selfish path may look so bright,
Yet lead us far from holy light.
God whispers softly, “Child, be wise,
Seek what’s pure before your eyes.
Lean not upon what you control,
But trust My hand to make you whole.”
For though our hands may plant the seed,
It’s God who governs what proceeds.
A harvest blooms from what we sow,
The hidden depths we may not know.
So pause before the choice you make,
Consider steps for heaven’s sake.
Walk humbly with the Lord of grace,
Who guides us through life’s shifting place.
May wisdom guard your heart and mind,
And in His will, true freedom find.
Three Things to Consider When Making Choices.
Does it align with God’s Word?

The Bible is full of wisdom to counsel and guide in all of life’s choices. What are the long-term consequences?
"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." (Galatians 6:7)
Every choice carries consequences. Take time to reflect on the potential outcomes.Have you prayed for wisdom?
"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God... and it will be given to you." (James 1:5)
Prayer invites God's wisdom into your life, helping you discern the right way to go.Seek wisdom and guidance - Do your research.
Take time to do the ground work and get necessary knowledge an dinformation to guide you in making the right decision.
Finally I will like to encourage us to trust in God as we make life’s decisions. While we cannot control the outcomes, walking in step with God’s wisdom leads to peace and purpose.
